Lakeside Highway Lions Club
About Our Club
Chartered in April of 1991, the Lakeside Highway Lions Club is located in Lakeside, California. We are a "Family Oriented" club and encourage members to bring their entire families to General Meetings. In fact over 80% of our membership is comprised of husbands, wives and other family members. Our reputation as a "Fun" club is well deserved.. Our unofficial motto is: "If we're not having fun, then why do it?" Formerly, we were the El Cajon Highway Lions, one of three Lions clubs in that city. Our merger with the Lakeside Lions has enabled us to provide stronger more dynamic Lions Club support to the East County community of Lakeside. The country atmosphere and "Cowboy" ambience of this little part of San Diego County is a perfect mating for the Highway Lions and our wild west reenactment group, "The Regulators."
The Highway Lions Club is a 501 (c)3 non profit organization. Our EIN is 33-0454368.
Twinned Clubs
We are proud to be twinned with the DunfermlineLions Club in Scotland and the Mount Maunganui Lions Club in New Zealand. See Twin Clubs page for more information.
